Libraries Welcome New Dean!

We welcome our dean of University Libraries, Timothy Hackman, who joined the Monarch community this summer! Hackman offers nearly 20 years of academic library experience, allowing for leadership in the field of librarianship and for emphasis placed on connecting ODU Libraries' services and resources to the needs of the University. Prior to accepting the position as dean, he served at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC) as associate director for public services. Hackman also holds a M.A. in English Language & Literature, Master of Library Science, and a B.A. in English.
