MATLAB

Overview

MATLAB is a high-level language and interactive environment for numerical computation, visualization, and programming. Using MATLAB, you can analyze data, develop algorithms, and create models and applications. The language, tools, and built-in math functions enable you to explore multiple approaches and reach a solution faster than with spreadsheets or traditional programming languages, such as C/C++ or Java

Where To Get It:

Available all ITS computer labs and in the Monarch Virtual Environment (MoVE) General Lab pool, College of Sciences pool, and Engineering pool.

On ODU-managed computers, download the software from the Ivanti Portal Manager (Windows) or Jamf Self Service (Mac).

Faculty, staff and students can download and install Matlab for home use. Instructions here. (Must log in with MIDAS ID and password.)
