Usage Requirements

Active faculty/staff or student.

University employees must be careful to protect confidential or restricted data. Before using Google Drive to send, store or share University information, review the regulated data storage matrix.

Getting Started

Access to Google Workspace for Education is automatically provisioned with the creation of a MIDAS account for active students and faculty/staff.

From the Course Collaboration Tool

When faculty use ODU's Course Collaboration Tool to set up Zoom meetings, Microsoft Teams or shared Google Drives for their courses, students enrolled in those courses can access the collaboration tools from within the myODU portal or from within the course in Canvas.
