A Look Back at National First-Gen Day 2020

In honor of National First-Gen Day 2020, individuals and groups on campus celebrated the occasion in a number of ways.

47 ODU Students Inducted into National Honor Society for First-Generation Students

In addition, President John R. Broderick and First Lady Kate Broderick were honorary inductees as part of the University’s initial Alpha Alpha Alpha class.


As part of the ODU F1RST Living-Learning Community (LLC), students in Crystal Nolan and Heather Weddington's classes produced spoken word poems. Browse through and enjoy their thoughtful and poignant videos.
