Transportation In and Around Campus
Bicycling  
The Norfolk campus is ideal for bicycling. Situated on the Elizabeth River Trail, the interior of the campus is flat, protected from perimeter streets, and crisscrossed with tree-lined paths.
Lime Scooter & Bikes  
Lime E-Scooters are a dockless electric mobility share program piloted by the City of Norfolk.
Parking  
ALL vehicles parked on campus are required to have purchased a valid ODU parking permit, or hourly parking payment.
Public Transit  
ODU has partnered with HRT (Hampton Roads Transit) to provide affordable regional transit options to our Monarch community with the GoPass365.
SAFE RIDE  
SAFE RIDE is ODU's on-demand evening van service providing free rides to all Monarchs after dark.
Sustainable Transportation  
ODU supports active and healthy commuting habits by encouraging transportation options that reduce single occupancy vehicle use in exchange for healthier, more affordable and convenient modes of transportation.
