Description
The integrity of research has profound effects on local, national and global health, economy, technology, and the environment. More scientific and scholarly research is being conducted by multinational teams of scientists than at anytime in human history. This growth in global research has raised important issues of trust, standards, shared values, culture and norms. Dr. Philip Langlais, psychology professor, will describe and discuss the growth and global research and the collaborative efforts of the U.S. and China to develop and implement effective strategies to improve scientific integrity globally. This event is co-sponsored by the Office of Research and the Confucius Institute at ODU.
