- Join us for a webinar with Matthew Sked, Legal Policy Advisor, with the Office of Patent Legal Administration at the U.S. Patent Office (USPTO). He will discuss recent Supreme Court decisions that have altered the understanding regarding the patent eligibility of software-based inventions. We will also address the USPTO’s Interim Eligibility Guidance and the July 2015 Update which provides guidance to patent examiners in implementing this complex and changing area of law. This presentation will discuss these guidance documents and other eligibility issues that affect software-based inventions at the USPTO.
