Monthly Member Payment Updates

There are changes occurring with monthly billing that will affect monthly ODU Student Recreation Center (SRC) memberships if action is not taken by June 30th.

As of June 7th, ODU Recreation & Wellness is operating with a new credit card processor for payments. Monthly member credit card is linked to our former payment system and cannot be transferred to the new system due to data security compliance. To continue with an SRC membership after June 30th without a lapse in access, monthly members must set up a credit card in our new system by following the instructions below.

Monthly members, please stop by the SRC front desk during operating hours to complete a new credit card authorization form and update member profile information and photo as needed. Members must bring the physical payment card. Existing monthly members will not be charged at the time of setting up the card if visiting before June 30th since existing members have already paid for the month of June. For those who transition to the new system by June 30th, monthly membership fees will resume on July 5th, the first business day of July 2023 and be billed automatically on the first business day of each month until a termination form is submitted by the member.

If a monthly member is unable to visit the SRC in person by June 30th, 10-minute phone appointments are available with the Coordinator for Membership Services to transition to the new system using this link: https://calendly.com/bewillia/brittany-15min. Please be prepared to share credit card information over the phone and complete an online credit card authorization form that will be emailed.

If monthly member payment information is not updated by the June 30th deadline, the SRC membership is scheduled to end on that date. If that happens and a member wishes to continue using the SRC, re-starting a membership is easy! Simply visit the SRC in-person to complete a new membership application and get set up in our new system.
