Try Before You Buy at the SRC

Sign up for a one week free trial* to the ODU Student Recreation Center (SRC) from January 8 to February 28 in our Try Before You Buy new year special. We are excited for new members to see what the Student Recreation Center has to offer at a competitive rate!

During the free week trial, take advantage of the following amenities, programs & services:

  • Sign up for a FREE Fitness Orientation & Body Fat Analysis with one of our Fitness Specialists. You can sign up for an appointment on the ODU Rec Well Portal or in person at the front desk. Learn more about your body, body mass index, flexibility, core strength, & more!

  • Participate in one of our 25+ inspiring group exercise classes, which are included in the membership, free of charge!

  • Check out one of our Small Group Training demos from January 9-13 and again from February 27-March 3 to preview the upcoming group training opportunities like Boxing Basics, Women on Weights, Intro to Powerlifting, and CROSSTREIGN!

  • Check out recreation equipment from our Pro Shop to use during your visits, such as basketballs, table tennis equipment, resistance bands, & more!

  • Take advantage of your access to the Student Recreation Center and University Fitness Center, including spaces like the indoor pool, indoor climbing wall, indoor track, fitness floors, basketball and racquetball courts, outdoor synthetic turf field, and more during open hours!

But wait, there's more! If you purchase a membership within your one week free trial, you will receive special discounts for our most popular fitness programs!

  • Small Group Training 6 week session for just $30.00 total. That's just $2.50 per workout! Take your fitness up a notch in 2023 by building a new set of skills in our small group programs: Women on Weights, CROSSTREIGN, Intro To Powerlifting, and Boxing Basics.

  • Personal Training 3 Express (30 minute) Training Sessions for just $50.00 total. You can't find personal training in the area at that rate! Get matched with a trainer to help you reach your fitness and wellness goals. Receive one-on-one coaching, a personalized fitness program, and benchmarking to help you stay accountable and be successful!
