Dedicated to Protecting ODU
The ODU Police Department (ODUPD) supports the academic mission of the University by promoting a safe and secure higher education environment, while providing proactive police and customer-related services that reduce crime.
In collaboration with our community partners, we strive to provide the highest level of service to all who attend, work at, and visit ODU.
Our approach is to involve students, faculty, and staff in our activities, programs, and operations. We know we can't do it alone, which is why we invite our community to unite with us in our goal of creating a safe and secure environment for all to enjoy.
