Ms. Charlton's Class Finds Inspiration in Famous Artists

Our five week art project started with an exploration of famous artists and the different techniques and mediums they used to create masterpieces.

The study was a combination of examining famous art work and exploring a variety of open-ended process art activities. Through these activities we not only learned about art but we expanded our understanding of symmetry, patterns, shapes, focus, and collaboration. We had an opportunity to show our own artistic interpretations of art work as well as develop confidence and creativity in our own personal skills.
