Professional Dispositions Survey

As part of Old Dominion University's mission and philosophy to develop professional educators, an emphasis on professional disposition is equally as important as demonstrating content knowledge and skills. To be admitted into an approved teacher education program, ALL prospective teacher candidates must first evaluate their professional dispositions.

Read and follow the directions below:

Undergraduate Students:

Complete and "submit" the Professional Dispositions Survey when you submit the Undergraduate Teacher Education Application to your academic major advisor or your Site Director, if you are a distance learning student. The Professional Disposition Survey should be completed prior to submitting the Undergraduate Teacher Education Application to the Office of Clinical Experiences, Suite 1107, Education Building.

Graduate Students:
Complete and "submit" the Professional Dispositions Survey as soon as you are admitted to graduate school and you have activated your MIDAS account.

Post-baccalaureate Endorsement students: Complete and "submit" the Professional Dispositions Survey after the Non-Degree Entry Form is processed and you have activated your MIDAS account. Then, you will meet with the appropriate advisor or Distance Learning Site Director to complete and submit the Licensure Only Program Application. The Professional Disposition Survey must be completed prior to submitting the Licensure Only Program Application.

Thank you for completing the Survey
