Praxis Core Academic Skills for Educator Tests

REMINDER!!! The Praxis Core Academic Skills for Educator Tests replaced the Praxis I effective January 1, 2014. Students must pass each Praxis Core Academic Skills test to be admitted into a state-approved teacher education preparation program. Praxis Core Academic Skills Equivalent Scores are approved per Virginia Board of Education.

The administration of the Praxis I tests discontinued discontinued in Virginia effective January 1, 2014. Praxis I tests completed with a passing score by December 31, 2013 will continue to be valid and accepted for admission into a state-approved teacher education program. Praxis I Equivalent Scores achieved by December 31, 2013 will continue to be valid and accepted for admission into a state-approved teacher education program.
