ODU HOSTS UC SANTA BARBARA IN NCAA SOCCER TOURNAMENT NOV. 18
Old Dominion University's men's soccer team has advanced to the third round of 16 of the NCAA soccer tournament and will host the University of California Santa Barbara on Saturday, Nov. 18 at the ODU soccer stadium at 7 p.m.
Tickets for the match are $7 for adults and $5 for youth 17 and under, senior citizens, ODU faculty and staff. ODU students will be admitted free with a valid I.D. In addition, all fans attending the ODU Lady Monarch basketball game with nationally ranked Kentucky at 4 p.m. at the Constant Center will be admitted to the NCAA mach for $5 with proof of their basketball game ticket stub.
Old Dominion upset No. 14 seed North Carolina on Wednesday night in Chapel Hill, NC., with a 1-0 victory, while Santa Barbara upset No. 3 seed Southern Methodist in Dallas on Wednesday. The winner of this match will advance to the NCAA quarterfinals at campus sites (Nov. 24, 25, or 26), with the "Final Four" set for Dec. 1 and 3 in St.Louis, MO.
