Gov. Northam Orders Flags Lowered for Victims of Shootings in Texas, Ohio

Pursuant to President Trump's Presidential Proclamation to lower the United States flag, Gov. Ralph Northam ordered that the flags of the United States of America and the Commonwealth of Virginia are to be flown at half-staff over the State Capitol and all local, state, and federal buildings and grounds to honor the victims of the tragedies in El Paso, Texas, and Dayton, Ohio.
The flags shall be lowered until sunset, Aug. 8, 2019.
