Governor Orders Flags to Be Lowered in in Observance of the National Fallen Firefighters Memorial Service

Pursuant to President Trump's Presidential Proclamation to lower the United States flag, Gov. Ralph Northam ordered that the flags of the United States and the Virginia are to be flown at half-staff over the state Capitol and all local, state and federal buildings and grounds in the Commonwealth in observance of the National Fallen Firefighters Memorial Service. The flags are to be lowered at sunrise Sunday, Oct. 6, and remain at half-staff until sunset.
