Marta Muselik, Business Manager of Gift Processing, is the Employee of the Month for May

Marta Muselik, business manager of gift processing for University Foundations, is the May Employee of the Month.

Muselik has been employed by the University since 2015.

Muselik is being recognized for her dedication to her role, which includes overseeing the acknowledgement and recording of pledges, pledge payment and gifts from donors to the Educational Foundation, Athletic Foundation, Real Estate Foundation and the University. Muselik serves as the point of contact for donors, fundraisers and University staff.

Maggie Libby, associate vice president for University Foundations described Muselik as patient, kind, thoughtful and always looking for ways to improve efficiency.

"Marta keeps her colleagues up-to-date on what's happening and has a positive attitude that is contagious," Libby said.

A common theme that describes Muselik by her colleagues is that she provides great leadership and mentorship to her team, with the goal of providing excellent internal and external customer service. One of her colleagues stated, "On a personal note, I enjoy working with Marta every day. She's always smiling when I come in, and brings me tasty teas and treats. She also teaches me a little Czech here and there. I look forward to her company."
