The new mascot logoswas were unveiled at the ODU Big Blue Summer Camp that is run by ODU's Department of Recreation and Wellness.

"We are extremely excited to unveil the Big Blue logos," said Jim Clanton, ODU's Director of Licensing. "Rickabaugh Graphics did an excellent job of capturing the essence of Big Blue, which is Monarch Spirit, Pride and Fun. These logos also are a great addition to the Old Dominion library of trademarks which help strengthen the University brand."
