Free Summer Fun at the Pretlow Planetarium
June 10, 2016

Old Dominion University's Pretlow Planetarium is continuing a popular series of planetarium shows this summer.
Every Wednesday night, through Aug. 10, a free planetarium show will be screened and followed by public observing sessions with the planetarium's telescopes. The shows start at 8:30 p.m. and cover what's currently in the night sky. Afterwards, at 9:00 p.m., participants will go out and look at some of these celestial objects with telescopes as long as the weather cooperates.
All shows are free and open to the public. Families are always welcome. Tickets or reservations are not needed. The doors to the planetarium will open at approximately 8:10 p.m., with shows starting promptly at 8:30 p.m.
