Old Dominion University was recently recognized as the inaugural winner of a Campus EllumiNation Award.
The award, presented by Ellucian, a Fairfax-based software company, honors institutions in the global community who inspire their peers to push the boundaries of technology, remove barriers and help students succeed.
According to Ellucian, "ODU clearly stood out as a leading institution that is using technology to enhance the student and campus experience, driving measurable growth in effectiveness."
This award is a testament to the collaborative efforts of Information Technology Services, Student Engagement & Enrollment Services and Human Resources in implementing Banner XE and revitalizing the use of Banner in the areas of admissions, student registration and financial aid.
Old Dominion was the first higher education institution in Virginia to launch Ellucian's Banner XE Registration software.
