Tickets on Sale Now for LUNAFEST: Short Films by, for, about Women

The Old Dominion University Women's Center, in conjunction with Women's History month, brings its annual short film screening LUNAFEST to campus March 17 to raise funds for the YWCA of South Hampton Roads and the Breast Cancer Fund.
LUNAFEST is a short film festival dedicated to promoting awareness about women's issues, highlighting women filmmakers and bringing women together in their communities. This year, the Women's Center will allocate space in the program to showcase three short films created by students that align with the theme of the festival, ODU Women's Center and Women's History month.
Requirements for student film submissions include:
- Films must be under seven minutes and should highlight women as leaders in society, promote women's issues or bring women together in their community;
- Include a short bio about the film and students involved; and
- Email the link or drop off a DVD at the ODU Women's Center, 1000 Webb Center by 5:00 p.m. on March 14.
LUNAFEST will be held at the Batten College of Arts and Letters building in the Burgess Room, BAL 9024, with a 6:30 p.m. reception. Film screenings will begin at 7:00p.m.
Tickets may be purchased at the Webb information desk located at 1071 Webb University Center or at the ODU-Peninsula Center located at 600 Butler Farm Rd., Suite 2200, Hampton, VA.
