"Into the Woods:" ODU Theatre Presents Tony Award-Winning Musical

"Into The Woods", with music and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim and book by James Lapine, is a timeless tale inspired by the Brothers Grimm.

Under the direction of Brian Nedvin, with performances by members of ODU Rep and ODU Opera, this spellbinding story will now be performed at The Sandler Center in Virginia Beach.

Through haunting music and lavish costumes, journey "Into The Woods" as the Baker and his Wife, Little Red Riding Hood; Jack (and the Beanstalk); and Cinderella discover what happens when you get what you wish for, while happily ever after isn't necessarily as imagined.

"Into the Woods" opens Thursday, Jan. 21, in the Sandler Center's Miller Studio Theatre, located at 201 Market Street, in Virginia Beach. Other performances will be held Friday, Jan. 22 and Saturday, Jan. 23. All shows are at 7:30 p.m.
