January 13, 2014

The Virginia Space Grant Consortium has partnered with technology, educational and business organizations across the state to give college and university students a very efficient way to search for spring and summer internships.
With one application submitted to the Commonwealth Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) Industry Internship Program (CSIIP), a qualified student can apply for internships at 100 participating companies.
CSIIP is currently soliciting applications for spring and summer 2014 paid internships. There is no cost for applicants. More information and online application forms are at www.CSIIP.org.
Students majoring in STEM disciplines at all accredited colleges and universities in the state are eligible, as are state residents attending accredited colleges or universities outside the state. An applicant must be at least 18, be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident, have earned at least 30 hours of post-secondary education credits and have a GPA of at least 2.7.
Old Dominion University and four other Virginia universities, together with NASA, state educational and research agencies and Virginia's Center for Innovative Technology make up the Virginia Space Grant Consortium.
