Cartography Students Presenting CCSLRI Program

A networking lunch Tuesday, Feb. 26, for faculty and students interested in Old Dominion University's Climate Change and Sea Level Rise Initiative (CCSLRI) will feature the presentation "Maps, Climate Change and Sea Level Rise: A Collection of Cartographic Creations from ODU Students."

The students whose work will be featured are in the cartography class of Tom E. Chapman, assistant professor of political science and geography.

The event, which starts at 12:30 p.m., will be in the Perry Library Gallery. Lunch will be served and those who want to attend should RSVP by contacting Elizabeth Smith of the CCSLRI at exsmith@odu.edu.

In addition to the cartography program, Larry Atkinson, ODU's Slover Professor of Oceanography, and Provost Carol Simpson will speak at the event.
