CEE Faculty, Staff Present 15 Research Papers at TRB Annual Meeting

In January, Old Dominion University (ODU) Transportation Research Institute (TRI) faculty members participated in the 91st annual Transportation Research Board (TRB). The presenters included Drs. Asad Khattak, Mecit Cetin, ManWo Ng, Michael Robinson, and Jun Duanmo and several graduate students.

The TRB Annual Meeting covered all transportation modes, with thousands of presentations on a diverse set of transportation topics. Among those presented, ODU faculty, staff and students contributed 15 research papers and posters, reflecting collaborations between various ODU entities.

The TRB 91st Annual Meeting attracted nearly 11,000 transportation professionals from around the world to Washington, D.C. Khattak co-chaired the Advanced Traveler Information Systems sub-committee meeting. Cetin presided over the Artificial Intelligence Applications for Travel Time and Demand Forecasting session.
