The Old Dominion University Math Festival is a free, non-competitive celebration of great ideas and problems in mathematics and computer science in Hampton Roads.

Math is Everywhere Scavenger Hunt

By participating in the ODU MathFest Scavenger Hunt, students and their families found Math is Everywhere across our Hampton Roads community. Four partner locations are each offering a unique math activity. Students can earn an entry into our tablet giveaway for each location they visit!

MathFest in your Classroom

This Spring, fifteen MonarchTeach students joined MathFest volunteers to Zoom into local classrooms and engage 2nd to 6th grade students with The Last Chip Activity!

Teacher Workshops

We will be hosting two online teacher workshops in Spring 2022, on:

  • April 19 from 3 to 4:30 p.m., and
  • April 20 from 4 to 5:30 p.m.
