Mechanical & Aerospace EngineeringComposite Modeling & Manufacturing Lab
Discover Our Focus
Our goal is to develop the understanding of how processing of composite materials affects its performance during manufacturing and all the way through the lifetime of composite through the simulation-driven approach coupled with experimental techniques to capture the relevant physical phenomena.
Our research interests are:
- Process modeling of polymer composites
- Structure-property relationships in composites
- Computational micromechanics
- Mechanical behavior of porous materials
- Multifunctional composite materials
- Repair of composites
