Our Mission

The Womanhood initiatives are ones in which women are highlighted and represented not only with regards to gender identity, but also as both a cultural group and class in society. Events and programs focus on critically examining and engaging depictions of girlhood and womanhood in popular media, social media, and literature; how womanhood is defined across and within diverse cultural groups and communities; how to be allies to and advocates on behalf of women of trans experience; and be informed by contemporary issues such as reproductive health and justice, gender equity, wage inequity, poverty, feminist issues.

Signature Events:

March - Women's Herstory Month

  • International Women's Day

    • The Crown Act

    • Turn Up The Pink

  • Reproductive Justice Programs
