Current Status for In-Person Student Organization Operations

During this academic year, limited face-to-face opportunities will occur with planned virtual opportunities as well.

Resources for Continuing Virtual Operations

Where to Start

  • How can your organization's mission be continued virtually?
  • Be creative

If you had events scheduled and they were publicized, update their status to cancelled, postponed, or how you are continuing virtually.

Virtual Programming

  • Consider your previously scheduled spring programs
(What needs to be postponed or could it be offered virtually as a resource or community building activity)
  • Plan "Senior Send-Offs"/awards/banquets/end of year hang outs virtually. Be creative!

Planning Ahead

  • Organizations should be planning a semester in advance, take this as an opportunity to create a well thought out plan for the fall
  • Advanced scheduling starts April 15 for Fall 2020
  • Review constitution and bylaws
  • Take the opportunity to update any online presence locations

Remote Service Opportunities

Monarchs care about their communities. In response to COVID-19, our engineering faculty and students have worked with local hospitals to use 3D printers to create and invent critically important devices, while student nurses have provided their services to these same facilities. There are ways you can still contribute to your community while at home.
