Student Works in ODU Digital Commons

Spring 2023 was a busy time for students at Old Dominion University. You can read some of their archived work presented at various events in ODU Digital Commons.
The 2023 GSIS (Graduate Society for International Studies) Research Conference was held on February 10 at Webb Center and Zoom where students from universities in Ukraine, Philippines, Latvia, Italy, Spain, and the United States presented papers on various political, social and historical international issues. Thirty papers are available and have been downloaded nearly 1,000 times.
We've been hosting the Undergraduate Research Symposium in Digital Commons for several years now. The 2023 Symposium was held March 25 in Perry Library's Learning Commons. Abstracts are available for the 86 presentations and posters, and 25 student artists submitted 44 works which are featured in an Art Gallery.
Abstracts from the 2023 Frank Reidy Research Center for Bioelectrics Retreat, which was held on March 29, are available for the student and faculty research presentations.
Graduate student work is featured in an annual poster competition for Graduate Research Achievement Day. The 2023 event occurred April 3-7. Forty-nine posters from nearly all ODU colleges have been downloaded over 1,500 times in Digital Commons.
The Spring 2023 Cybersecurity Undergraduate Research Showcase of the Commonwealth Cybersecurity Initiative of Coastal Virginia was held on April 21. Research projects are available for ODU and other coastal Virginia undergraduates.
