Naro Collection Features Free Film Screening

Old Dominion University Libraries return to the artificial skies of Le Planetarium on March 21 with the iconic psychedelic, psychological anime thriller, PAPRIKA, the final film from visionary director Satoshi Kon (Perfect Blue, Tokyo Godfathers).
As the Libraries' team continues working on building a new, permanent home for the legendary 43,000+ title Naro Video Collection, we hope the Monarch community will enjoy the free film screening where a new high-tek doo-dad - that lets observers enter the dreams of others - goes missing. It's up to a renegade psychologist and her dream-surfing alter-ego, Paprika, to find the gizmo before it falls into the hands of 'dream terrorists.' A deep, acid-dosed noir procedural with an absolute heater of a soundtrack, PAPRIKA set the bar for animated films in the 21st century. It remains frequently imitated but never surpassed.
