ODU Digital Commons Reaches 4 Million Downloads

Old Dominion University's research has a global presence in ODU Digital Commons, our institutional repository. Since 2015, the repository has grown to include more than 18,000 items with over four million downloads to date.

Having your scholarly work in ODU Digital Commons helps expand the reach of your work and raises your research impact -- and that of the university. Your work is also preserved long-term and is optimized for a higher ranking in search engine results.

While it is possible to submit your own work, as a service to the University, staff in the Libraries identify and collect materials, verify journal permissions, request acceptable versions (pre-print, post-print, or publisher pdf), provide metadata, advise on copyright and author rights, and upload material. If you send us your CV or list of publications, we will be happy to check and upload.

For more information and to submit your publications list, contact Karen Vaughan, Head of Scholarly Communication & Publishing at kvaughan@odu.edu or digitalcommons@odu.edu.
