Libraries Celebrate Archives Month!
ODU Libraries recognize Archives Month this October by sharing some oddities within our own Special Collections and University Archives. Please visit Perry Library, cast a vote for your favorite archival oddity ... and enter to win a prize! Monarchs may also click here to cast their votes. Our Special Collections and University Archives team will select a winner by the end of the month. #ArchivesMonth
ODU Libraries encourage the Monarch community to join us over the Fall '23 semester as we participate in ODU's Annual Campus Theme (ACT) - Blue Connections! From special events to collections and displays, the Libraries will highlight the significance of our oceans and coastal waterways as they directly shape our global economies.
ODU Libraries welcomed the Monarch community to join us for Blue Connections at ODU Libraries: Explore for Our Future! Our kickoff event on September 14 from 11am to 2pm showcased upcoming events, displays, discussions, and featured collections that support the University-wide theme of Blue Connections.
Notably, these opportunities for engagement serve as a bridge between academic exploration and community activism, and we invite all Monarchs to participate over the semester, all while considering the Libraries as a space to make a difference across ODU and beyond our campus environment.
