ODU Resilience Collaborative

The ODU Resilience Collaborative (ODURC) is a consortium of leading scholars actively engaged in research, education, and outreach on critical issues for resilienceat the community, regional, national, and global levels. It replaces the Climate Change and Sea Level Rise Initiative (CCSLRI) as a coordinated, campus-wide effort for resilience collaboration. ODURC is open to all faculty studying all types of resilience, and despite its roots, is not limited to flooding, sea level rise, or climate research.

The ODU Resilience Collaborative creates and disseminates knowledge, develops and conducts innovative projects, and supports decision making about resilience issues. Key areas of focus include climate change and sea level rise, adaptation, cybersecurity, health, and community resilience.

The ODU Resilience Collaborative provides the overarching framework for organizing and coordinating resilience-related initiatives at ODU.
