Old Dominion University offers Interdisciplinary Studies (IDS) degree programs for students who are interested in two or more fields of study that don't easily fit into a traditional college department.
There are several IDS majors that already have approved courses of study: Professional Writing, Leadership, Game Studies & Design, and Cybersecurity. In addition, Old Dominion offers the IDS Individualized Program which gives undergraduate students the opportunity to design their own degrees.
