FIRST-TIME FRESHMAN
An incoming student who does not currently attend Old Dominion University or any other university during the current academic year. (High school students with AP credits are considered first-time freshmen)
RETURN HOUSING (CURRENT ON-CAMPUS RESIDENTS)
An undergraduate student who currently lives on campus, attends Old Dominion University during the current academic year and will continue to be enrolled in an undergraduate program as a full-time student during the upcoming academic year.
NEW TRANSFER STUDENT
An incoming student who has never taken courses at Old Dominion University and is transferring existing credits from another institution of higher education.
OFF-CAMPUS STUDENT
A student who currently attends Old Dominion University and lives off campus, or a student who has taken a break in their studies and will re-enroll in an undergraduate program as a full-time student during the upcoming academic year.
SPRING HOUSING
Continuing and newly admitted Freshmen and Transfer students enrolled in Spring courses are eligible to live on campus during the Spring semester.
SUMMER HOUSING
Students enrolled in summer courses are eligible to live on campus during the summer months.
