Lindsay Usher, Ph.D., a member of the Human Movement Sciences faculty, explored the mental, physical, and social effects of early pandemic regulations on surfers.
Two from HMS Earn Fulbright Awards
Hannah M. Twiddy, a Ph.D. candidate in human movement science will conduct postdoctoral research in Australia. Justin Haegele, associate professor of human movement sciences, was named to the Fulbright Specialist Roster.
Two ODU Students Cleared Two National Awards
Katie Holland and Steve Holland (Advisor Dr. Justin Haegele) were selected to receive the 2021 Ruth Abernathy Scholarship, a very prestigious award that typically recognizes two students at each year’s national convention.
