The Research Strategic Plan 2015-2020 focuses on research, scholarly, and creative expertise as the basis of a new Old Dominion University research agenda.
In fall 2015, the Office of Research will move forward with implementing a framework enabling faculty to identify areas in which the university should invest in to grow activities and opportunities that further nurture ODU's mission.
As a comprehensive research university, success will be measured in not only numbers, but in the impact of ODU on the community locally, regionally, and beyond.
The mandate to develop a five-year Strategic Plan for Research is outlined in the University Strategic Plan 2014-2019. See Goal 1, Objective 1, Item i.
