Meet CFD’s New Graduate Assistant, Elijah Kelly

The Center for Faculty Development is happy to welcome Elijah Kelly as its new graduate administrative assistant.

Kelly is a Portsmouth native who earned a bachelor of arts in Asian studies at Old Dominion University this past academic year. Now enrolled in the master of arts program in applied linguistics, he hopes to become an ESL teacher in Japan. He devotes his spare time to strengthening his Japanese language skills.

Expect to see Kelly at CFD events as he photographs and assists with most of our activities. He also performs research duties for the Center and other specialized tasks, helping to keep the Knowledge Hub on the CFD website up to date.

"I am looking forward to learning as much as I can while working as a graduate assistant this year," he said.
