52 ODU Faculty Among World’s Most Cited Scientists

A recently released list of the world's top scientists contains an impressive 52 current and former Old Dominion University faculty members. The Stanford University ranking (Ioannidis et al., 2020) represents the top 2 percent of the most-cited scientists in various disciplines.

ODU Provost Austin Agho and Vice President for Research Morris Foster announced the news in a late fall email.

"Please join us in extending congratulations to our world class scientists on achieving this important international recognition," they wrote. "We commend them for their professional accomplishments and dedication to the pursuit of excellence in research, innovation, and scholarship."
