New From CLT: Self-Paced Workshops, Blackboard Template, Faculty Learning Community

The Center for Learning and Teaching continues to produce tools and resources to support ODU faculty members who are making the transition to online instruction.

The latest initiatives include:

New self-paced video workshops: CLT has created eight short learning modules that are available for you to watch immediately, at your own pace. Titles include Establishing Presence in Your Online Course, Preparing Your Online Students for Success, and Recording Effective Mini-Lectures. See the full playlist.

Blackboard template: CLT has created a Blackboard template you may use for your course. This tool will help you present your materials in an organized, inviting, learner-centered way. All you need to do is request access; you'll be added to the template and sent instructions.

Online Faculty Learning Community: CLT has built a COVID-19 Online Faculty Learning Community, a platform where you can share ideas, lessons learned, tips and resources with colleagues who have made the move to remote teaching or are planning to teach remotely. Want to join? The How To link will walk you through the steps.

Keep Teaching website: CLT is continually adding resources to its Keep Teaching site, an information hub designed to help you teach remotely during a crisis. You'll find a wealth of tips and training to help you on your online journey.
