Cancellation Policy

Clients must call at least 24 hours in advance of their scheduled appointment to cancel or reschedule. Due to the large volume of ODU students seeking counseling services, clients who "no show" and "late cancel" an appointment twice in a row, will be terminated from counseling services at that time and placed back on the coordination of care list.

Scheduling Appointments

  1. Appointments can be made via email, in person, over the phone, or through the website.

  2. Upon scheduling your initial appointment, you will receive a confirmation email including instructions for the day of your appointment.

  3. Walk-ins are welcome; however, students who walk-in cannot be guaranteed that they will be seen on the same day. Appointments are recommended to ensure the availability of a counselor.
