ECE Professor Featured in Prism Magazine

Mounir Laroussi, professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, was featured in the Spring 2023 issue of PRISM Magazine, a publication of the American Society for Engineering Education.

Laroussi, who was highlighted for National Arab American Heritage Month, explained what plasma engineering is, its importance and some of the latest developments. He also spoke about the contribution to the field that he was most proud of; a plasma pencil originally used for biomedical research that now has potential application in oncology.
