Old Dominion University's Batten College of Engineering and Technology seeks to foster strong relationships with industry. While annual giving to our college provides fundamental support for undergraduate and graduate research, internship and co-op programs, diversity initiatives, outreach activities, design competitions, student projects and the advancement of engineering knowledge, many local industries prefer to partner with our college to support their own business endeavors. BCET and its faculty often help local industry solve problems, and often provide them with access to advanced resources, new technology and research-based learning innovations developed here in our college. Through collaborative and financially beneficial partnerships we are able assist our industry partners with the challenges and problems facing them in an ever-changing and challenging environment.
