Biomedical Engineering
Fostering multidisciplinary projects in the biomedical area
Biomedical Engineering is composed of faculty members who are interested in the multidisciplinary field of biomedical engineering. While its organized within the Frank Batten College of Engineering and Technology, affiliated faculty members also reside in the colleges of sciences, education and health sciences. Research interests include, but are not limited to, biomechanics, bioelectrics, biomaterials, medical imaging, metabolic systems, rehabilitation (physical, cognitive, and speech), tissue engineering, and neural engineering.
