Research Interests
- My research interests largely focus on political and cultural change in the American South, with an emphasis on: 1) the politics of memory and representation on the Southern landscape involving Civil War and Civil Rights symbols (such as flags and monuments), and 2) issues of elections and voting rights in the region.
