If you have an immediate concern that you or someone else is in imminent danger:

If you are an ODU student who needs support right now:

Please call 757-683-4401 and press option 2 to be connected with a crisis counselor 24/7/365 days per year.

If you have a concern about someone who is a student that you think needs support, but does not seem to be an emergency:

Please contact Student Outreach & Support and they will follow up with the student. You can do so in the following ways:

If you are unsure of what you need, do not know how to best support a student, or need help determining if something is an emergency:
