Come learn about human trafficking, a domestic and global phenomenon also known as modern day slavery. We’ll be presenting on what it is, some of the myths surrounding it, and discussing populations that are most at risk. We will also have a panel discussion with community experts on human trafficking, trauma-informed care, and a global justice advocate and researcher. We will also be hearing the story of survival and recovery from a survivor of human trafficking, their journey to take back their life after they escaped, and how they have used their experience to spread awareness on the topic as well as aid in other survivor’s recovery."
