The Office of Administration & Finance is responsible for the delivery of business, financial, and operational services for Old Dominion University. Administration & Finance encompasses a diverse group of support services, and continually seeks to develop, administer, and coordinate these units to aid in the fulfillment of the University's mission and to respond to the needs of the University community.
Old Dominon University has been awarded the prestigious 26th Annual Achievement of Excellence in Procurement® (AEP) for 2021 from the National Procurement Institute, Inc. (NPI). The AEP Award is earned by public and non-profit agencies that demonstrate a commitment to procurement excellence. This annual program recognizes procurement organizations that embrace Innovation, Professionalism, Productivity, Leadership and e-Procurement.
ADMINISTRATION & FINANCE UNITS
Bookstore, Card Center, Dining, Transportation & Parking, Webb Center, Mail Center, Marketing & Financial Literacy, and Chartway Arena.
Support and analysis to University leadership in fiscal and budgetary policy development.
The OEM maintains a comprehensive, all-hazards plan to help ODU prevent, prepare for, respond to, and recover from any incident.
The EHSO administers programs that promote a safe and healthful environment for the University community.
University financial processing, ensuring compliance with all Federal and state regulations and laws.
The Office of Institutional Research at Old Dominion University serves to provide accurate, timely, and relevant data and analysis in support of decision making across the entire institution while also ensuring institutional compliance with the state and Federal data reporting mandates.
ODU maintains a full service police department that delivers progressive public safety services to ensure a safe and enjoyable university experience.
Developing building and real estate projects that expand ODU's boundaries to provide modern facilities for the university community and beyond.
The Office of Risk Management is responsible for administering the University's insurance, risk management and fire safety programs.
Space is an institutional asset and its distribution and use must serve the University's mission.
