Music professors Mike Hall and Paul Kim spent nine days on an exchange trip whose itinerary included teaching master classes, conducting rehearsals, performing a concert with Minzu's advanced music students and serving as cultural ambassadors.
The Virginia Modeling, Analysis and Simulation Center (VMASC) recently held its summer camp in Suffolk, VA where middle school students had the opportunity to learn 3D modeling or robotics. Last week, Astronaut Buzz Aldrin visited the ODU Peninsula Center to talk with students from the Virginia Aerospace Science and Technology Scholars (VASTS) program, an interactive semester long on-line science, technology, engineering and mathematics learning experience, and seven-day residential summer academy at NASA Langley Research Center.
